GST Billing

GST billing software for restaurants, configured outlet by outlet

Set your tax and fee lines once per outlet, let every bill show the SGST and CGST split, and see GST collected for the day in the close summary.

GST billing in a restaurant is less about the bill itself and more about the setup behind it: which tax lines apply at which outlet, whether there's a service charge, and how invoices are numbered. KhaanaPina keeps all of that in the outlet's settings, so the billing screen simply applies it.

Each outlet has its own named tax and fee lines — SGST, CGST, service charge, platform fee — set as a percentage or a flat amount and switched on or off individually. Every bill then shows GST split as SGST and CGST, and each outlet numbers its own invoices.

Why it matters

GST handled in setup, not at the counter

Each outlet taxed its own way

Tax and fee lines belong to the outlet, so a fine-dine branch with a service charge and a quick-service counter without one can each bill the way they're set up — from the same account.

A clear split on every bill

Every bill shows GST as SGST and CGST, next to the discount and promo lines, so the guest, the cashier and your accountant are reading the same numbers.

GST collected, ready at day close

The outlet dashboard's today's close summary shows gross sales, discounts, GST collected and net collected, so the day's tax figure is there when you close.

How it works

Setting up GST billing in KhaanaPina

01

Add your tax and fee lines

For each outlet, add named lines such as SGST, CGST and service charge, set each as a percentage or flat amount, and switch on the ones that apply — using the rates your accountant advises.

02

Set your invoice series

Give each outlet its own invoice prefix and reset date, so every outlet's invoices follow their own sequence.

03

Bill and review

Bills carry the SGST/CGST split. Look up any invoice by date range, status or type, and check GST collected in the day's close summary.
